Aaron R. Shahan

Aaron Shahan is an associate with Gorman & Jones, PLC. He primarily practices in the areas of Estate Planning and Consumer Bankruptcy. His estate planning practice includes helping clients with Wills, Trusts, Living Wills, Powers of Attorney, Guardianships, Inheritance and Estate Tax Planning, Special needs Trusts, Asset Protection, Probate Litigation, and Probate Administration. Aaron is also proficient with LLC and Corporate Formation, and Business Succession Planning.

Prior to joining Gorman & Jones, PLC, Aaron worked for one of Arizona’s largest consumer bankruptcy firms. His Bankruptcy experience covers both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy code. Working for such a large firm provided Aaron with a vast array of experience and exposed him to a multitude of issues that can arise during the bankruptcy process.
 
At Gorman & Jones, PLC, Aaron combines the personal attention provided by a small firm with the experience gained managing hundreds of cases at a large firm. Aaron, a native of Michigan, received his B.A. in Marketing from Wayne State University in Detroit. Later, he attended The John Marshall Law School in Chicago where he finished in the top ten of his class, earning the distinction Cum Laude. While attending law school, Aaron clerked for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. Prior to his legal career, Aaron owned and operated a small real estate investment firm in Michigan.
